What emergency measures should be taken if a high and low temperature cycling unit malfunctions during operation?

Temperature Out-of-Control

· Fault Phenomenon: Temperature rises or drops continuously, exceeding the set range and cannot be controlled.

· Emergency Measures:

1. Immediately cut off the power supply of the equipment to prevent further temperature runaway from causing more serious consequences such as equipment damage and safety accidents.

2. Open the equipment chamber door or outer casing to accelerate air circulation, facilitate heat dissipation or temperature rise, and try to bring the equipment temperature close to room temperature to reduce risks.

3. After the equipment temperature stabilizes, check whether the temperature sensor is functioning properly for signs of looseness or damage. If any issues are detected, attempt to replace the temperature sensor.

Circulation Pump Malfunction

· Fault Phenomenon: The circulation pump stops working, emits abnormal noise, or leaks water.

· Emergency Measures:

1. If the circulation pump stops working, first turn off the equipment power supply, then check whether the pump's power connection is loose or the fuse is blown. Try reconnecting the power supply or replacing the fuse.

2. In case of abnormal noise, shut down the equipment immediately to avoid further damage. Check for foreign objects blocking the pump impeller and clear any obstructions if found; simultaneously inspect components such as bearings for wear and replace them if necessary.

3. If water leakage is detected in the circulation pump, quickly cut off the power supply to prevent hazards such as short circuits. Locate the leakage point: if the sealing element is damaged, attempt a temporary replacement or repair; if repair is not feasible, stop using the equipment and replace it with a new circulation pump.

Refrigerant Leakage

· Fault Phenomenon: Refrigeration efficiency decreases significantly, abnormal frosting occurs on the evaporator surface, and a pungent odor can be detected.

· Emergency Measures:

1. Once refrigerant leakage is detected, immediately turn off the equipment power supply to stop the compressor from running continuously, preventing compressor damage due to insufficient refrigerant.

2. Turn on ventilation equipment to enhance air exchange and discharge the leaked refrigerant outdoors, as refrigerant may be harmful to the human body.

3. Do not use open flames or electrical equipment at the leakage site to avoid the production of toxic gases when refrigerant contacts open flames. Contact professional maintenance personnel for inspection, repair, and refrigerant refilling under safe conditions.

Abnormal Pressure

· Fault Phenomenon: Excessively high high-side pressure or excessively low low-side pressure, and the equipment triggers an abnormal pressure alarm.

· Emergency Measures:

1. When an abnormal pressure alarm is triggered, first turn off the equipment power supply and stop operation to protect the equipment from damage caused by excessively high or low pressure.

2. Inspect the heat-dissipating components of the refrigeration system, such as checking if the condenser has excessive dust accumulation affecting heat dissipation. If so, clean the dust on the condenser surface to improve heat dissipation conditions.

3. If refrigerant charge volume is suspected to be the cause, do not arbitrarily refill refrigerant by yourself. Entrust professional personnel to conduct testing and adjustment using specialized tools.

Water Leakage Fault

· Fault Phenomenon: Water stains are found around the equipment, and the water level in the water tank drops significantly.

· Emergency Measures:

1. First cut off the equipment power supply to prevent safety accidents such as short circuits caused by water leakage.

2. Locate the water leakage point: if leakage occurs at the pipeline connection, try tightening the connecting nuts or replacing the sealing gasket; if the water tank is cracked, take temporary repair measures or stop using the equipment and replace the water tank according to the severity of the crack.

3. Clean up the water stains around the equipment to prevent water from flowing into electrical components or other equipment and causing damage.
